![]() I know it may sound harsh, but when cooking for six, I just can’t please everyone all of the time and I’m pretty sure I’d go crazy if I were to try. The next meal is your next opportunity to eat. I’d love for you to eat it, but if you choose not to, that’s fine too. Now, normally I’m not one to change the menu because someone doesn’t like what is being served. He made his position on the matter quite clear. I mean really, really, really wanted mac and cheese. Only the Baby didn’t “want chilwi!” that day. To appease my two boys that don’t share the Baby’s fondness for chili, I planned to make some corn pudding to ladle the chili over–because everyone loves corn pudding, and I really needed a couple of slam dunks that day. So the other day when the Baby was feeling a little less than charming, I decided to make chili for lunch because the Baby loves him some chili. You can’t help but do whatever he asks because he’s just so darn cute about it all.īut then there are the days when Charming Baby makes like Elvis and has “left the building.” On those days, I’ll do just about anything to avoid yet another meltdown. When he’s in Charming Baby Mode, he is funny, clever, and most agreeable. My Baby can be such a sweet, easy going kid. ![]() ![]() Most days, having a three year old is such a joy. Creamed corn macaroni and cheese is the ultimate comfort food, and because this is a slow cooker recipe, it’s also the ultimate weeknight dinner!
